This week I read Zoo by Anthony Browne, Zoo is a children's picture book. This book looks at a family trip to the zoo, the animals seem to all be sad and depressed, the book ends with an interesting question. I think this is a great book for young readers, it also raises questions of zoos and what we think of them, which could lead to interesting class discussions.
